How do tournaments work?

Tournaments have 8, 16 or 32 places. Registration closes at the scheduled start time, when the server draws the pairings.
In a knockout bracket, the winner advances and the loser is eliminated. In a triathlon, players play three games and earn points for their finishing positions.
Empty places can be filled with bots. Private tournaments are visible only to people with the code or link.
Registered players can create tournaments; anyone can join.
