GAME GUIDE

How to play Bubble Machine

Bubble Machine rewards accurate shots and clever disconnections. Match at least three bubbles of one colour, drop groups no longer attached to the top and build a streak. Duels use identical boards and colour queues.

Start a game

  1. Aim and fire the current bubble.
  2. Use wall bounces to reach a difficult angle.
  3. Connect at least three matching colours to clear a group.
  4. Look for supports whose removal drops a larger hanging group.
  5. Finish with the higher score within the two-minute duel.

Shots and matching groups

The board begins with bubbles in five colours. A shot follows the chosen direction, bounces off side walls and attaches when it reaches a bubble or the appropriate boundary.

A connected group of at least three of the same colour clears. Any bubbles then disconnected from the top fall, even when their colours differ from the shot. Groups remaining attached to the top stay on the board.

Points and streaks

  • 100 points per directly cleared bubble.
  • 150 per bubble dropped after losing its connection to the top.
  • Consecutive scoring hits increase the streak bonus by 50 at a time, up to 500.
  • A non-clearing shot resets the streak.
  • Clearing the whole board adds 3,000 points.

Example: remove the support

A shot directly clears three bubbles and drops four hanging beneath them. The direct clear gives 300 and the dropped bubbles give 600: a base of 900 before any streak bonus. Clearing the same three with no dropped bubbles would give only 300.

This makes a small support group near the top potentially more valuable than a larger group near the bottom. Check which bubbles would actually become disconnected before choosing the shot.

Duels and blocked boards

Both players receive the same board and colour sequence and play at the same time. A duel lasts up to two minutes; after one player finishes, the opponent has fifteen seconds to finish scoring.

Your board can finish because it is cleared, bubbles reach the bottom limit, or the match timer expires. The higher score wins. When the current colour has no immediate match, place it where it may help a later shot instead of building a dangerous low obstruction.

Strategy and useful habits

  • Search for a small group supporting many bubbles.
  • Use side-wall rebounds to reach behind an obstruction.
  • Keep the lower limit clear.
  • Plan a non-scoring placement with the next shot in mind.

Common mistakes

  • Counting all visible hanging bubbles as already disconnected.
  • Ignoring higher-value drops in favour of easy low clears.
  • Shooting without checking the current colour.
  • Assuming the duel winner is decided only by who clears first.

Questions and answers

Do both players receive the same colours?

Why are dropped bubbles valuable?

They score 150 each, compared with 100 for a direct clear.

What ends my board?
